NEW How to apply for a BCeID for PAC Gaming application

The Community Gaming Grants that most PACs apply for annually is changing to a new, online system. It will require PACs and DPACs to have a BCeID. It is highly recommended that PACs use a business BCeID so that there is continuity of records, even with leadership changes. From the BC website: “The Business BCeID enables a designated representative of an organization (primary user / business account manager) to administer sign-in IDs and passwords for other members within the organization (secondary users).”

The process is fairly straightforward but might have some language that PACs aren’t familiar with. Surrey DPAC has created a guide to walk through the process step-by-step. This is a fairly short application but important to do right away so that it does not delay the gaming application. BC Gaming has indicated that they are unlikely to approve any late applications this year.

NOTE: there has been some confusion raised that “principal” in the application refers to your school’s principal. In this case, it is a business term meaning “person authorized to act on behalf of the organization”. This would typically be a PAC Executive member and often is the Treasurer for the purposes of this application.
